CD Projekt Red, creators of The Witcher and Gwent, are proud to present the first gameplay recording of their upcoming open world RPG — Cyberpunk 2077. “What we’re releasing today was recorded from a game deep in development.” — says Adam Badowski, Cyberpunk 2077 Game Director and CD Projekt Red Head of Studio. “Since many of the assets and mechanics in the current version of Cyberpunk 2077 are most likely to be modified with a lot of custom Cyberpunk 2077 mods and we initially decided to show this gameplay only to media. Elements like gunplay (both in terms of visuals and how RPG stats influence it), netrunning, car physics, or the game’s UI — everything’s pretty much still in the playtest phase and we felt uneasy about publicly committing to any particular design. Animation glitches, wor...
Night City, California. Year 2077. The world is broken. MegaCorps manage every aspect of life from the top floors of their sky-scraping fortresses. Down below, the streets are run by drug pushing gangs, tech hustlers, and illegal braindance slingers. The in-between is where decadence, sex and pop culture mix with violent crime, extreme poverty and the unattainable promise of the American Dream. You are V, a cyberpunk. In a world of cyberenhanced street warriors, tech-savvy netrunners and corporate life-hackers, today is your first step to becoming an urban legend.

E3 2017 was not one of the best in recent years and you could say it was a “filler” year. A lot of no shows or surprise announcements this year, with most games being previously announced games. We’ve covered the highs and the lows, time to cover the no shows that we were expecting or hoping for. Cyberpunk 2077 After being teased in January 2013, we haven’t heard or seen much about it. With the recent claim of the hackers who stated they would release information and documents about the game to the public, CDPR stated that they would show the game when it was “ready”. We expected maybe another trailer or announcement of some sort but we got nothing. Death Stranding Hideo Kojima had announced before E3 that Death Stranding would not be shown. Then he sta...
Less than a day ago CD Projekt Red released an official statement in which they stated that internal files belonging to them which contained early designs for Cyberpunk 2077 had been stolen. The hackers/hacker have demanded a ransom from them with threats to release the files to the public if their demands were not met. CD Projekt stated in the statement that they will not comply with the hackers/hacker and that the documents were quite old and are not representative of the current vision of the game. I personally am quite upset and angry with the hackers/hacker as they are targeting a studio like CD Project Red who have worked so hard to get where they are and are one of the best game devs out there. To whoever stole these documents, screw you for doing this, the community stands with CD ...
After The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s success, fans are eagerly waiting for the next big CD Projekt Red title, Cyberpunk 2077. Cyberpunk 2077 has been under development for a long time, and not much information about the game has been revealed apart from some artwork and a very exciting trailer. Recently, CD Projekt Red had announced that they’ve got more people working on this game than they ever had for The Witcher 3. The hype is real. And now, it seems like the release date for the game might have creeped out, knowingly or unknowingly. A digital store known as Komplett has listed Cyberpunk 2077 on their website and according to them the game will be released on 30th September 2017. The studio hasn’t announced anything regarding this publicly, so it could all be mere specula...

During a Q&A session with investors about their upcoming open world sci-fi game Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red has revealed that a lot more devs are working on the title than their previous game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, during its peak month of development. Seems like it’s all hands on deck now, folks. A recent job posting on CD Projekt Red’s website also suggests that the devs are putting all their resources to use. The studio isn’t too keen on revealing any details soon, though. There is no release date and whether the game will support co-op/multiplayer is still under speculation. Still, we’re happy to know that the work is going on and we get to see the game sooner or later (most probably later). You know, considering the fact the both the Facebook and Twit...
