Assassin’s Creed Chronicles is a new three-part installation of Ubisoft’s long-running action video game franchise. The games will be released incrementally across 2015, with the first game—Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China—releasing April 21st. The new trilogy will be “2.5D” side-scrollers, similar to many of Ubisoft’s other UbiArt small releases—think Child of Light, Valiant Hearts, and so forth. Each game will also feature its own assassin and distinct art style. China has a painterly art-style, for instance, whereas Russia, which releases later this year, will have a “propaganda” art style and India will feature a more vibrant color palette. Ubisoft have revealed that it’s newest graphic novel series ‘Assassin’s Creed: Brahman’ is following along the footsteps of Assassin’s Creed: The Fall and Assassin’s Creed: The Chain. This comic has a rather talented crew working on the novel. Written by Brenden Fletcher (Wednesday Comics), with artwork by Cameron Stewart ( Catwoman, Batman & Robin) and Karl Kerschl (Adventures of Superman). The story is about Arbaaz Mir, a new assassin who is out to bring down a “lifelong foe” that have taken over his land.
