Lo Wang will be returning in the sequel to 2013’s reboot of the classic 2.5D shooter/slasher Shadow Warrior, announced Flying Wild Hog and Devolver Digital on June 12th.
It now has 4 player co-op, an expanded arsenal of over 70 weapons, including razor sharp katana, short swords, crescent blades, hand claws and the reboot’s trademark ornate and outlandish firearms. Also returning is the brutal and iconic gore system, which made it oh so satisfying to eviscerate both demons and humans.
But the sequel is not content with just bringing back features and stepping them up to eleven: it brings new stuff to the table too. The game packs in four player co-op for brutally slaughtering demons with your friends. The levels are now procedurally generated too, guaranteeing unique playthroughs every time you play the game.
Shadow Warrior 2 will release in 2016, and is up for pre-order on Steam and GOG.
