As part of the PowerA exclusively designed Nintendo Switch character series controllers, officially licensed by Nintendo, this Donkey Kong wired controller stands out for its vibrant colours and emblematic design. Bearing such an illustrious character and name, it certainly has a lot to bring to the table and a good deal of measuring up to. How does it hold up to other controllers though? What features does it come with and how ergonomic is it designed?

Gamers, especially collectors out there are the greatest critics and are mad for good packaging designs and box art, so how is this controller wrapped and is that box worth keeping on your niche collectors shelf? Time to open it up, connect it to the Switch, and play some games!

Pros:
 Solid, stable build;
 Durable design;
 Nice button-press sounds;
 Detachable USB cord;
 Easy to connect & set up;
 Features a good directional, or D-pad;
 Great shoulder button design & layout;
 Amazing aesthetics;
 Officially licensed by Nintendo;
 Large joysticks.

Cons:
 Joysticks are flattened;
 No rumble feature;
 No motion sensor;
 No NFC reader.
