Developer Cornfox & Bros has announced that their Zelda-like RPG, Oceanhorn will make its way to the Nintendo Switch, after teasing it last year.
The announcement was made via Twitter, with FDG claiming that the game will “run beautifully on the powerful Switch”. No definite release date has been announced yet, but the game is said to release sometime in 2017.

Oceanhorn is presently available on the Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. A version for the PlayStation Vita is also under development. Cornfox & Bros also announced a sequel back in August 2016 – Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm – which will use a third person view, shaking things up from the top down view of the first title. Even with all the changes, the developers say that the sequel will be “built upon the same elements that were the heart and soul of the first Oceanhorn game: exploring a colorful world, a deep backstory with secrets and twists, amazing music, and most importantly, classic action-RPG gameplay with items, puzzles, battles, and badass bosses.”
The Nintendo Switch itself will launch on 3rd March, with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild being a launch title.
