Naughty Dog’s tweets coincide with some concept art, should we expect another game?

Something seems to be brewing over at Naughty Dog studios. Some stuff has been taking place behind the scenes according to The Last of Us Game Director Bruce Straley took to Twitter to express his appreciation for a prototype a designer was sketching:

“I got goosebumps playing & talking thru a prototype a designer was sketching in yesterday! That’s how I know… #GonnaBeAwesome”

Marek Okon, a freelance concept artist that worked on several pieces of artwork for the game, recently posted on his Facebook account the work in progress artwork you can see above.

Let me tease you something… Its coming… ;]

The unfinished picture above definitely looks like a older version of Ellie holding a guitar. And if you’ve played The Last of Us you’ll know about Joel and Ellie having a certain conversation about Guitar lessons.

There is currently no evidence to support these teases, the tweet or that Okon’s artwork does indeed portray Ellie. But we’ve got to admit that the timing was nothing less than perfect. Could these signs mean we could be in for The Last of Us series?

Marek Okon just posted an update on facebook:

Lol. This is how you know you are teasing your stuff the right way
So before its gonna get blown out of proportions – its gonna be strictly personal image.
Is it about TLOU2? Not really… Maybe… Its classified ;P
But seriously its gonna be just a fan art ;]

This guy’s really good! He still is teasing something but we can’t know for sure if he actually is working with Naughty Dog on this one.
