Lego has long been known for transforming popular franchises into buildable sets, covering everything from Star Wars and Lord of the Rings to Dungeons & Dragons and The Legend of Zelda. However, some of the biggest anime series, like Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man, have found a home with BLDR—a new player in the brick-building space. BLDR has also secured the beloved Hello Kitty franchise, bringing even more variety to collectors and builders.
BLDR sets are developed by Jazwares, the company behind the wildly popular Squishmallows plushies (which also make an appearance in BLDR sets). One of BLDR’s standout features is that its bricks are fully compatible with major construction brands, including Lego, allowing seamless integration with existing collections.
At launch, BLDR has introduced a range of sets available on Amazon and the BLDR website. These include highly detailed and customizable dioramas from Hello Kitty and Friends, featuring characters in their classic forms without blocky, rigid designs. Additionally, Squishmallows fans can enjoy adorable SquishBrik dioramas, featuring their favorite plushies in a new, buildable format.
