IO Interactive Shifts To New Studio, And Gets A New Logo

Developers behind the hit Hitman series, and the hugely popular Freedom Fighters game has changed their logo, and moved into a new studio.

Here’s the announcement from their official blog:

This week, we have opened the doors to our new development studio in the heart of Copenhagen and have a new company logo that represents our step into the digital world.

After many years at our previous studio, where we created and released many games, we have moved across the city to a new, ultra-modern studio that will be our new home and the place where our first priority is to continue making HITMAN the absolute best that it can be.

The new studio has an on-site motion capture studio, cantina and kitchen plus a whole variety of spaces for all different kinds of work. From meeting rooms named after our games, to chill-out areas and everything else we need for day-to-day work.

It was also important for us to have a studio that is fun to be in and that can spark creativity at almost every corner. That’s why we’ve made sure that the studio is equally prepared for spontaneous table-football tournaments or high-score competitions on arcade machines.

To mark the occasion, we asked our Studio Head, Hannes Seifert, to say a few words:

IOI has always been a studio that creates unique and interesting games. It comes from the idea that we want our games to play and feel like the people that create them. Our new studio is the perfect place to continue doing that. It’s an energetic, high-tech and exciting place to work that has been created specifically for our needs as an ambitious development studio. Our new logo is fresh, contemporary and expresses our creativity, ambition and passion.
