Hey Gamers! Our friends at Cooler Master recently held the Dota 2 All Star League held in Bangalore. The league started on the 1’st of February and came to an grand end on the 23’rd of March.
A total of 20 teams registered for the All Star League, so began the qualifier rounds. These teams were divided into groups of four, five teams in each group fought it out to come out on top of their respective groups. At the end of the qualifiers 10 teams made it to the Pro-Circuit based on the point system whiles the rest of the 10 teams placed in the Amateur Circuit.
The venue was Escape Gaming cafe which had a variety of drinks and eateries adding to the chill ambiance and incredible gaming setup allowing the teams to get comfortable and give it their best when it was their time to shine.
What topped off the fun and excitement of the games were how the matches were organized, every weekend teams would battle it out versus each other whiles the rest of the teams showed up to cheer their friends/competitors on, creating a very electric atmosphere.
Teams like LXG (formerly playing under the tag of team Error) stood out in the tournament as they performed like Gods of the scene.
The Amateur circuit top came down to four teams : Sexy Fighters vs Fanive & NoobGaming vs First2Slay.
After some incredible matches which could go either side, NoobGaming came out as victors of the amateur circuit and are only off to achieve bigger, better things in the world of e-sports with practice and dedication. They also took away some great Cooler Master gear as prizes.
As for the Pro Circuit , the top 10 teams battled it out for a spot in the semi finals. Although everyone played brilliantly, 4 teams namely , LXG, Mission in Stealth, Piece of cake and Outdoor stood out. After a thrilling semi finals and a nail biting spectacular grand finals the winner was team LXG and will get sponsored gear by Cooler Master, a custom made team website and Team T-Shirts. Congratulations to all teams that took part and congratulations to team LXG for their amazing performance and achieving victory.
