No. of Cores 8 Processor Model FX-8370 Compatible Socket AM3+ Clock Speed 4 GHz Max Turbo Speed 4.3 GHz Power Consumption 125W Cache Memory Details L2 – 8MB L3 – 8MB With the same Piledriver architecture as certain old FX chips and the same base clock speed as the FX-8350, the 8370 offers a slight upgrade in terms of maximum clock speed and functionality. A Blast From The Past: Ratchet and Clank Quick Review

Tag along the adorable yet badass Lombax, Ratchet and his trusty sidekick robot, Clank on their quest to become Galactic Rangers, as you blast through Blarg warships and turn your foes into pixels (all retro style) in this beautiful action platformer brought back to life on the PS 4. Since it’s debut about 14 years ago, the game has been completely re-imagined in a near-perfect form, from visually stunning environments to fun, quirky weapons. Ratchet and Clank lays hours of entertainment in your hands with its eccentric, witty attitude, staying true to its core values which made us fall in love with the original game in the first place. Just spend a few minutes on the game, and you won’t be able to put it down till you finish “just one more mission”. Talking about t...

Review: Cooler Master Masterkeys Pro S

Cooler Master Masterkeys Pro S and L are the latest additions to the family of RGB keyboards. While we’ve seen a lot of RGB keyboards in the recent time, thanks to the competitive market, there has been a shortage of keyboards with Cherry MX RGB switches. Masterkeys Pro S and L both make use of these switches. We were lucky to get our hands on the Pro S, and here is the result. First and foremost, let’s talk about the appearance. Cooler master has chosen a simple, no nonsense look for the keyboard, the only thing different being that the Windows key has been replaced by one with a Cooler Master logo on it. We have to say, this look works for it. With the minimalistic design, the keyboard occupies the least possible space, and it also feels great to use. The RGB LEDs used for ba...

Review: Samsung T3 Portable SSD (500GB)

Samsung is back on the block with the T3 Portable SSD. Having a capacity upto 2TB in about 45 cubic cm of space, this small device surely packs a punch. It comes with a USB Type-C port and boasts of transfer rates up to 450 MBps, about 4X faster than current hard drives. While it comes with a hefty price tag (about INR 17,000/- for the 500 GB model), the T3 is a lucrative choice for people who want to transfer huge chunks of data quickly. Watch the full video review here: The SSD is barely the size of a business card, which means you can easily fit it in your pocket and carry your data wherever you go. And it weighs only about 51g, so it is quite lightweight as well. Technical specs can be seen as follows: Samsung Portable SSD T3 specs Drive type mSATA-based portable drive Capacity 250GB, ...

HyperX CLOUD Revolver Gaming Headset Review

We’ve all been playing one or the other multiplayer game lately, be it Doom or Overwatch or Uncharted or Division.  These games are specially fun when you play with friends, for which you usually need a good gaming headset. And I am often asked which is a good headset for Gaming. So we’re are taking a look at some of the best Gaming Headsets available in the market, starting off with the Cloud Revolver Pro Gaming Headset by HyperX. The Hyper Cloud series is a surprisingly good range of headsets coming from guys who primarily make storage devices, and the Cloud Revolver does not let you down. The ear cups are very comfortable, specially during long hours of gaming. I’ve spent hours playing the Division with no discomfort at all, and this is partly due to the memory foam an...

10 Years Later: Half Life Series In Memoriam Review | Time Capsule

Ladies & gentlemen, welcome to Time Capsule, where we talk about games from the past while shedding a nostalgic tear. The tears are in abundance today, because we’re talking about Half Life which, if the rumors are to be believed, may never have a conclusive future. For those who don’t know, Half Life is a game franchise about a nuclear physicist on a quest to kill aliens by bashing their heads in with a crowbar. It begins when a bunch of overly zealous science nerds decide to open up portals to other worlds. If video games have taught me anything over the years, it’s that opening up portals usually leads to bad shit coming out of it. Guess what happens this time? Aliens. Who within moments of stumbling upon our planet decide to form up and declare a full blown invasion. I mean serious...

Thermaltake Level 10M Advanced Gaming Mouse Review

Thermaltake has been pushing some really interesting products in their Level 10 series. Today we are taking a look at the Level 10 M Advanced Gaming Mouse by Thermaltake. If you didn’t already know, Level 10 is a collaboration between Thermaltake and BMW, where they come up with these unique and really cool looking designs. And the mouse that we have today is a 16000 DPI mouse with 6 configurable buttons. You have the standard left and right buttons which are fairly big. Speaking of big, the Level 10 M Advanced is actually a pretty big mouse, and may not be for you of you have smaller hands. However, if you do have smaller hands, you might want to check out our review of Ventuq X Gaming Mouse (review in progress), which is again by Thermaltake. Coming back to the Level 10 M, It’s also a bi...

Tom Clancy’s The Division Review

After a really long wait since E3 2013, I’m glad that The Division has finally been out for almost two months and boy, it has taken me a while to thoroughly play through it and write my review of the game. The game is set in New York City after a virus outbreak that spreads through banknotes affecting our consumerist population. Unlike other games that have a virus outbreak as its premise, this one does not include zombies. So what kind of enemies do we have? The enemies in The Division are split into multiple classes, the Rikers, Sweepers, LMB(Last Man Battalion). When there is no food and no law and order, those are the kind of people you get. The story of the game does take a backseat to the gameplay. There are hardly any cutscenes and you get to find out about most of the story through...

Borderlands And DOTA Had A Child Out Of Wedlock: Battleborn Review

First thing first, Battleborn is not Overwatch. It’s also not DOTA, though it has similarities to both. Battleborn is a MOBS-esque First Person Hero Shooter, and it’s great. While it is targeting the same audience as DOTA and Overwatch, it has enough unique elements to offer so as to suck you in and keep you coming back to the game. Made by Gearbox, the guys behind Borderlands, it boasts the same art style and the humor. While Overwatch takes the more Team Fortress 2 approach with the character design, gameplay and visual aesthetic, Battleborn is more like DOTA in a first person mode, and is highly reminiscent of Borderlands 2. There’s delightful dash of Tiny Tina all over the game and Ashly Burch even voices a character in the game. The humor, the characters, the story a...

Dark Souls 3: A Fanboy’s Perspective

The Souls-Borne Series has been like a breath of fresh air when games were becoming increasingly condescending. The series introduced innovative online multiplayer and messaging system. More than that though, From Software dared to bring back rules and design choices that had not been seen in years. Going through the whole level just to face up with a boss who might squash you in seconds? Ninja Gaiden did that on the NES in 1988. Demon’s Souls, dared to do it 2009. Two years later, Dark Souls refined the ideas further and is now widely regarded as one of the greatest games of all time. Dark Souls II followed up, and though it was equally well received, middling level design and other issues meant that it didn’t quite reach the heights of it’s illustrious predecessor. Dark...

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to a soon-to-be-remastered-edition of Time Capsule. With all the excitement around the remastered version of Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, we decided to play the game again and see how well it plays compared to today’s modern shooters, and figure out if the remaster will be worth buying. They rescue their Russian friend Nikolai, who’s also big on freedom. Words like loyalist and nationalist get throw...

Testosterone Frenzy: Gears Of War Review

Ladies and gentlemen, get behind cover because today we are going back to a time where men drank steroid juice and ate testosterone sandwich for breakfast, and considered enemy intestines as suitable weapon skins for their guns, with most of them having chainsaws attached to them, if ever they needed to cut trees while killing foes. Come to think of it, they should’ve had that in Vietnam. Yes folks we’re talking about Gears of War. A tale of overly manly men who don’t have time to bleed. (Cuz only women bleed) One unfortunate morning their home planet gets attacked by by locusts, only not the kind sent by Yawheh upon the Egyptians in order to free his beloved people. These locusts are bigger, though they do come in swarms. You play as Marcus Fenix, a hulking piece of meat who had been cour...
