Killzone: Shadow Fall’s latest map The Canyon is now available

Killzone: Shadow Fall‘s latest map, The Canyon, is now available for download, developer Guerrilla Games announced today. Set in the Helghast capital of Pyrrhus City, The Canyon consists of the decaying remnants of the city’s palace. Watch Dogs PS4 Will Run At 1080p and 60 FPS

[Update: Ubisoft confirms Watch Dogs won’t hit 1080p on either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One ] Watch Dogs PS4 resolution and frame rate hasn’t been confirmed yet but according to Sony Customer Service, the game is listed as a 1080p and 60 fps title in their database. This listing again matches the official pre-order description from Sony, which revealed the game as running at 1080p and 60 frames per second. Ubisoft have yet to comment on this story despite GameInformer’s recent article on the same topic. Check out the chat log between reddit user dizorkmage and Sony Customer Service employee. With just a few weeks in between its official release, Ubisoft’s silence on this topic seems rather strange. Perhaps they want the users to find it out themselves. The Xbox One version’s resolution and fr...

Rumor: PS4 Version of God of War: Ascension Incoming

It may not be a whole new God of War title, but according to industry insider Shinobi602, who is normally very accurate with what his sources tell him about upcoming games, God of War: Ascension is making a move to the next generation with a PlayStation 4 Edition. Not very exciting but GOW Ascension’s coming to PS4. Shinobi specified that the leak comes from his sources, but he doesn’t know if the game will be sold at retail, as it’s listed only as a PSN release at the moment. Beyond that, he hasn’t given further firm details about the title, and of course we should consider this a rumor until Sony makes an official announcement. Yet, considering Sony’s recent penchant for HD remakes, it’s definitely not hard to believe.

PlayStation 4 to get over 100 games in 2014

Sony recently published a master list of the 100+ PlayStation 4 games that will be available on the platform by the end of the year. The list includes previously released titles like Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and Thief, as well as much-anticipated upcoming games like Batman Arkham Knight and Assassin’s Creed Unity. Please Note that the release dates for upcoming games is subject to change. But with that out of the way, check out the full list below. Out Now: Awesomenauts Assemble! Basement Crawl Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition Don’t Starve: Console Edition Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Lege...

PS4 nearly outsold Xbox One by 2:1 ratio in US last month

Sony are going on boasting about how well their sales did in the US last month. They outsold the Xbox One by nearly two-to-one. Sony add to this by saying that they managed such figures even though stock of the console was “severely constrained”. New figures from NPD also portray that Sony’s advantage also has a lot to do with the software sales too- new release Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition sold twice as many copies on PS4 than on Xbox One. This doesn’t mean that Xbox One sales have done bad. In fact, figures reveal that the company’s next-gen console is selling 2.29 times faster than the 360. Xbox also sold the most games, keeping in mind that’s both the 360 and the One they’re referring to. Combine, Microsoft’s two consoles were responsi...

New Infamous Second Son screens show neon powers

So far we know Delsin has a range of powers in PS4‘s inFamous; Second Son and these new screens show his neon abilities in action. The main benefit seems to be a speed boost as well as prettier projectiles – because if you are going to die it’s comforting to think you looked good. One of Delsin’s skills is apparently the ability to take other conduit’s powers, which should open up the options some what. We’ve seen the neon power coming from a female character called Abigail Walker, also known as Fetch. The process doesn’t exactly look painless and it’s unclear weather she survives – could this the game’s new moral twist? Check out the neon powers in the gallery below
