Ys VIII for PC Delayed

To all of you who have been anxiously awaiting the PC release of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana, we have a very regrettable announcement: we are once again pushing the release to an as-of-yet indeterminate date. We sincerely apologize for this delay, and we would like to explain in detail the reason why we are proceeding with the delay. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand that many of you will be upset about this news. For that, and most importantly, for the delay, we are very sorry. Please note, however, that this announcement does not affect the relocalization update patch planned for January 30th for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions of the game. Low framerate issues and memory leak problems were apparent from the earliest PC builds we received. To help comba...

The new year is here, and while gaming in 2018 doesn’t start with a big bang like last year, it doesn’t mean we don’t have any good stuff coming up. Manas’ Top 20 Favorite Video Games Of 2017 (And Then Some..)

Looking back, I am surprised at how many games I was able to play and complete this year, and also how many of them were actually great. Sure, it’s easy to pick holes in even the best of them, but 2017 was truly one of the best years in Video Game history. I tried to trim list list down to 10, but I just couldn’t bring myself to cut down on the games I had an absolute blast with. Even after removing games like Cryptark, Sniper Elite 4 and Endless Space 2 (which I am managing to subtly sneak in by mentioning them here), the list just wouldn’t go below 25. So I played around with the list, bunched games together and threw some in the honorable mentions. Screw it, these are great games, they need to be on this list. Play them, if you haven’t already! Yakuza Zero Come f...

It’s time to become Yakuza. The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Zelda’s return is an open world masterpiece. Mass Effect: Andromeda It’s an unpopular opinion, but I enjoyed the game even with its faults. Nex Machina Nex Machina is an intense arcade style twin-stick shooter from Housemarque. Taking hints from both Robotron and Smash TV, Nex Machina focuses on pure action, voxel destruction and competition in the distant, cablepunk...

Jasmeet’s Top 10 Favorite Video Games Of 2017

2017 has been a wonderful year for games. We’ve seen numerous titles release this year, some disappointing, some meh, and others just downright incredible. Choosing the top 10 is never an easy task, because one has to put a lot of thought into the picks. Nevertheless, here are the ten titles I loved the most this year, for various reasons. They may not be the best games, but they sure left a mark on me, some in more ways than one. Also, I do not own a console and play all my games on the PC, so you won’t find any exclusive titles here. Without further ado, I present my top 10 games for the year 2017 (in no particular order, of course). Divinity: Original Sin 2 The eagerly anticipated sequel to the award-winning RPG. Gather your party. Master deep, tactical combat. Join up to 3 ...

Sarthak’s Top 10 Favorite Games Of 2017

Here are Sarthak’s Top 10 games of 2017: 1. Middle Earth Shadow of War It was a delight to feel so much power and be in control of a game since the Shadow of Mordor. 2. Call of Duty WW2 My first console was a PS2 and it was a delight to take a nostalgic trip back to WW2 with Call of Duty in those pretty graphics. 4. Zelda Breath of the Wild I played this one on an emulator on my laptop. It was pretty buggy, yet it was so so enjoyable. 5. Divinity: Original Sin 2 A perfect blend of Story, environment and gameplay. 6. For Honor I always wanted to play as Viking and For Honor did a fantastic job. However, I’m not in favour of them removing ‘u’ from ‘honour’. #Britist_English_Rules 7. A...

Every year there are games that we are all hyped up and eagerly waiting for, and every year some of the drop the ball. So here are the top 10 most disappointing games of 2017. These aren’t necessarily bad games, these are just game we expected better from. Mass Effect Andromeda This one is probably the most obvious pick.
