Watch Dogs won’t have players trapped in a small section of the map, waiting patiently to complete enough missions to unlock more areas. Watch Dogs creative director Jonathan Morin told The Average Gamer that the whole Watch Dogs world is “open right at the start”. “You can go anywhere you want. On October 1st there will be a small downloadable Title Update released on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE. Upon installation of that Title Update, direct access to begin GTA Online will be unlocked in your GTAV game menu. You will be able to jump right into GTA Online via the 4th (bottom) slot in your GTAV character wheel. Batman: Arkham Origins Has A Permadeath Mode
Batman: Arkham Origins producer, Guillaume Voghel, has revealed an extra hard “I Am the Night” mode for the game. “We have a new difficulty level, New Game Plus is coming pack, that’s really difficult,” he told Eurogamer, “And when you’re done with that there’s I Am the Night mode, which is no saves and one life.” He also explained the first piece of DLC for the game which will see you playing as Bruce Wayne, not Batman. “That’s a really cool one,” he said, “Narratively there’s some added content that will give players a little more background story.” According to Voghel, I Am the Night mode unlocks when players complete the main game and New Game Plus. “The main narrative arc and side missions last about 12 hours and then you have all the collectibles,” he told Eurogamer. Strong Link Between Gaming And Playing Real Sports
Your endless hours of playing Fifa has finally come good 🙂 New research from ESSEC, one of France’s leading business schools, has found that playing sports videogames can increase participation in real sports, especially among young men and boys. 38 per cent of boys under the age of 21 who play sports games on “active” game consoles practice their favourite virtual sport in real life, while 75 per cent of gamers participate in some kind of real sport, according to the study. “Videogames are frequently demonised. Performance anxiety for PS4 and Xbox One ?
With the upcoming next generation of consoles, PlayStation 4 is currently around 50 per cent faster than its rival Xbox One. Multiple high-level game development sources have described the difference in performance between the consoles as “significant” and “obvious.” It is reported that memory reads on PS4 are 40-50 per cent quicker than Xbox One, and its ALU (Arithmetic Logic Unit) is around 50 per cent faster. Yesterday morning, Valve revealed the first steps of its plan to marry the new SteamOS to custom hardware. According to the Steam Machines Beta Test Agreement, Valve has developed a game controller. Speculation has been abundant about the third of Valve’s announcements, which is scheduled for reveal on Friday at 1 PM Eastern. “Valve Corporation (“Valve”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”) has developed and produced prototypes of entertainment system hardware and software, including a set-top box running custom software and a game controller (collectively: “Beta Products”),” the agreement states.
