4th Annual Indian Comic Con

So the 4th edition of the Indian Comic Con started off in the nation’s capital on Friday the 7th of February at the Thyagaraj Stadium. The 3 day convention has come a long way since it started out four years ago and has seen a significant increase in comic-book publishing companies in India. Flappy Bird dev removes the popular app

In a bewildering series of events Flappy Bird developer Dong Nguyen has removed his hugely popular app, despite it raking in $50K a day in ad revenue. Why did he take it down? It’s a bit of a mystery, but it sounds like he didn’t like the fame and the throngs of criticism that came with it. “I am sorry ‘Flappy Bird’ users, 22 hours from now, I will take ‘Flappy Bird’ down. I cannot take this anymore,” he tweeted. “I can call ‘Flappy Bird’ is a success of mine. But it also ruins my simple life. So now I hate it,” he wrote in another tweet. Release date announced for BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 2

BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode Two will be available across the world on the 25th of March 2014. The chapter that concludes the story is set in Rapture and will be available for download on  PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on that date. As mentioned before, this DLC is set Rapture just before its fall, BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode Two sees you as Elizabeth and her objective is to bring closure to not just her story but also that of BioShock Infinite. Warface Xbox 360 Edition beta released

On the 5th of February 2014, the Xbox 360 version of Crytek’s free-to-play FPS Warface had launched its beta. Initially available on PC, Warface is a class-based competitive shooter. The full version is to come out this spring and players who have an Xbox Live Gold account can play the game free of cost. You can sign up for the Warface Xbox 360 beta on the game’s official site. Dates out for Call of Duty: Ghosts’ Onslaught DLC

Activision has announced that Onslaught, the first DLC pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts’ will be available on PS3, PS4 and PC on 27th February. Onslaught initially launched on the 28th of January on Xbox Live. On all other platforms its priced at £11.59 / $14.99 on its own, or it can be acquired as part of the £34.99 / $49.99 Season Pass. The add-on features four new multiplayer maps, the new Maverick dual-purpose Assault Rifle/Sniper Rifle, and the first chapter in Extinction, a four-part episodic story involving aliens. Final Fantasy to feature Lara Croft outfit in new DLC

Square Enix announced that Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XII will be getting a Lara Croft DLC pack. Available when the game launches on the 13th of February, the DLC will include a Lara Croft outfit for protagonist Lightning based off the clothing in Tomb Raider. Not only will this, but those who download this DLC also get the exclusive Survivor’s Axe and Riot Shield items. The Lara Croft outfit isn’t the only thing your character can dress up as; other costumes from Final Fantasy X/X-2 and Final Fantasy VII are available too. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will launch for 360 and PS3 on February 11 for North America, with Australian and European releases to follow on February 13 and 14, respectively.   Source: Zorine Te

The Elder Scrolls Online trailer May Blow Your Mind

While we won’t experience anything quite as awesome as the trailer below, the game itself has a lot of promise. Bethesda’s poor decision to go with the archaic subscription fee model is unfortunate, but then again, we suppose they had to find a way to pay for all that top-tier voice talent.
