Latest Batman: Arkham Knight trailer showcases in-game footage
Rocksteady showcased the Latest Batman: Arkham Knight trailer teasing some in-game footage. The video below is called ‘Evening the Odds’ and is very similar to what we were shown a few months ago at the game’s press unveiling. While a part of the trailer is still pre-rendered CGI but there’s also some real gameplay footage towards the end, including a shot of new supervillian Arkham Knight getting the better of Batman – which was also a part of the preview we saw back in March. Back then though the game was suffering from an awful lot of slowdown, which may have precipitated the subsequent rumours of it being delayed. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 & 3 now available for Mac
While Mac usually has all the bragging rights when it comes to performance, but it has never been quite up on the Gaming arena 🙂 A few years after hitting consoles, the most popular games from the Call of Duty franchise are coming to Mac, including: Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3 as well as all DLC for both titles. The games aren’t available in the Mac App Store, but they will be available through Steam, SteamPlay support means you’ll be able to pick up the title up once and play it on both Mac and PC. While the release is already a few titles behind the console releases, it does bring Mac gamers some great new Call of Duty content including multiplayer for both games. Titanfall loses two game modes on PC
In a post on the official Titanfall website, Respawn announced it has removed both Capture The Flag and Pilot Hunter as separate playlists, due to their “not being widely used modes” on the PC edition. While the modes will not be accessible in open matches, each will continue to be available to play in Private Matches. The move follows long wait times accessing these modes due to a lack of players playing them. According to Respawn, most players are focusing on the Attrition and Hardpoint modes. “We want to make sure that not only is there compelling content in the playlists we offer, but that the experience of joining a match works well,” a spokesperson for the studio wrote. “We’re tracking what playlists players are choosing, and we’re going to c...
YouTube might acquire Twitch for $1 billion
A lot of speculation has been around that Youtube, the Google subsidiary will purchase Twitch “all-cash” and that the announcement is expected to be made imminently. Twitch is popular video streaming platform that allows players to broadcast themselves and their gameplay over the internet. The company has seen massive success over the past few years, with Sony and Microsoft opting to integrate Twitch streaming and viewing functionality natively into the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In its first week of streaming the Xbox One Twitch app hosted over 108,000 unique broadcasters, accounted for 22 per cent of the game streaming service’s total broadcaster base. Halo 5: Guardians Slated For 2015
Today Microsoft and 343 announced the next installment in the Halo universe. It’s called Halo 5: Guardians, it’s all about Master Chief’s journey in moving on from the events of Halo 4, and it’ll be out in the fall of 2015 on Xbox One. The cover art, in addition to the Master Chief, also shows a mysterious second Spartan who would be a completely new male character. Watch Dogs PS4 ‘Leaked’ Animated GIFs Show Amazing Gameplay
A lucky gamer has already got his hands full with Watch Dogs on the PS4, and he is sharing his videos online. Thanks to this leaker, we can see how Watch Dogs looks on the PS4, and determine it on our own if it is worthy to be called a “downgrade” or not. Earlier this week, it was revealed that the game was running at a resolution of 900p on the PS4 and 792p on the Xbox One, both of them are running it at 30 fps. Watch Dogs is officially set to launch on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC on May 27th. It will also be released on the Wii U at a later date in 2014. What do you think about this new footage?
