PUBG Mobile Game Coming Soon, Published By Tencent

With the recent partnership between Bluehole and Tencent, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is all set to make its way to China. However, we also now have news of the Battle Royale game coming to smartphones as well. With the help of Tencent, a mobile version of the game is currently in development. Battle Royale clones have already stared cluttering the mobile markets, and some of them are actually pretty good. It’s only obvious that Bluehole and Tencent will want a share of the mobile market, especially since they have the biggest Battle Royale style game in the world right now. Tencent might also be looking to buy out Bluehole completely, and it makes sense for them to support the IP to the fullest. EA Loses $3 Billion In Stocks After Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Disaster

EA has already started seeing real consequence to their actions over Star Wars: Battlefront 2. Fan backlash aside, their stocks have fallen significantly, and just recently they suffered a loss of $3 billion in stocks. The stock value was down by 8.5% as of Tuesday. This is bound to make the shareholders angry, and EA ill have to reconsider their future actions. All of this comes on the heels of nasty microtransactions and pay-to-win elements in Star Wars: Battlefront 2, even after they removed at hours before release. It’s great to see community feedback and fan outcry making a real impact and difference. One can only hope that this serves as a warning to any other company who lets their greed run amok. Call Of Duty Is A Mess For The First Time Ever

Call of Duty World War II was 2017’s most anticipated game as the series visits its roots amidst the socio-political war. However, that wasn’t the plan since the beginning. “Sledgehammer wanted to make Advanced Warfare 2,” Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg stated. A sequel to 2014’s Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare seemed obvious, as it was regarded positively by fans and critics alike. And Sledgehammer was, in fact, working hard on Advanced Warfare 2, until Infinity War came in the picture. Infinity War was not at all well-received by the fans. They accused the game of recycling old mechanics and maps and presenting the same game to fans each year. Infinity War’s reveal trailer is the most disliked video on Youtube. Many fans called for the franchise to return to its real hist...

The Big Three Giants In The Video Game Industry Keep Making Mistakes

The video industry is driven by three big giants; Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. Well, at least Sony and Microsoft undoubtedly, while Nintendo is like that cool kid who doesn’t need any comrades. If you ponder back at the revelation of Xbox One with a Kinect that nobody desired, it was a direct effect of the commercial success of Xbox 360. But on the contrary, I presume that 360 was rather more successful than One with its array of first party games and introduction to motion gaming. Motion gaming was something which was quite impressive at the time but soon lost its charm, yet Microsoft could not let go of the Kinect. In addition to that, there are just are just a handful of games for One’s Kinect. Then you’ve got Sony, who thought it would be a great idea to price the PS...
