Assassin’s Creed Creator Says Working At Ubisoft Involved Lying To Gamers

It has been a while since Patrice Desilets, creator of the Assassin’s Creed series, left Ubisoft to start working on his own game, Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey. However, previously he had been rather tight lipped about his time at Ubisoft, and their eventual fallout. In a recent interview with Gameology, Desilets has opened up and described how his time spent at Ubisoft, among other things, involved “political lying”. Koei Tecmo Bringing More Exclusive Titles To The Nintendo Switch

Koei Tecmo president and CEO Yoichi Erikawa shared some comments about Nintendo Switch during a financial results briefing last week. According to Erikawa, the company’s multiplatform engine incorporates Switch, allowing them to create a single source and automatically output it to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch. Erikawa added that he thinks the “anytime, anywhere” concept of Switch is interesting and will be a success, and that he wants to support it. Other than Fire Emblem Warriors, which Koei Tecmo studio Omega Force is developing, Koei Tecmo is working on other Switch-exclusive title(s). Merchoid, the videogame merchandise specialist, has announced it will be stocking Zelda Clue, which is due for release later this year. IGX 2017 Dates and Venue Announced

Last year’s IGX (Indian Games Expo, if you must), saw some great moments with games like For Honor being playable before release. Not only that, we also got a glimpse of the PS VR before its official release this year. The bar has been set high, and hopes are high for this year as well. IGX 2017 will be held in November, on the 18th and 19th to be specific. While the event will still take place in Mumbai, the venue has been shifted from last year’s World Trade Centre to the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon.
