Battlefield 4: Conquest Gameplay Tips

Conquest is probably one of the fun game modes to play in Battlefield 4. Your entire team get to battle it out on a large and open environment, in which you can use both infantry and vehicles to capture flags, while countering your opponent’s tactics. The game requires teamwork, nevertheless is the loads of fun.

One of the main features of Conquest is that it focuses on coordinating attacks and defensive strategies with your squad and your whole team. You’ve got to know how to play this game properly in order to win matches, so we’ve compiled a few tips that you could use while playing Conquest in Battlefield 4.

1. Join a Squad

If you’re all alone and aren’t going into game with your buddies then we suggest you join a squad once you’re in-game. Pulling off a one man show in Conquest isn’t the best of ideas. Usually the enemy team will be moving around in groups of 3-5. So facing multiple enemies all by yourself is more often than not a death sentence. So always join a squad and coordinate as a team to give your enemies a run for their money.

2. Engineers are Key

You need to make sure while playing Conquest that you have atleast one player running the Engineer class in your squad. This mode allows all vehicles types from tanks to helicopters and much more. The Engineer can access many anti-vehicle weapons and tools that can prove to be very vital in defending captured objectives and assisting the team as a whole. If you happen to be the Engineer, be sure to keep watch for enemy jets, attack choppers and heavy tanks.

3. Capture in Packs

The main objective in Conquest is to capture flags, even though it sounds like a fairly simple task, its quite tricky actually. In most cases you’ll have to take out a few enemy soldiers, vehicles and traps to get to the destination. Having extra bodies for backing firepower always come in handy. Plus just having a whole bunch of soldiers charging towards that flag always is a cause of worry for the opponent.

4. Play the Objectives

Once your team captures the flag, you should be sure to setup your squad around it or nearby atleast. Lay down a few AT mines on the roads and maybe place a claymore right on the flag while you go take cover. At some point enemies will come in hot and you’ll need not worry cause you’re perfectly set. Stopping enemies from capping a point earns you bonus points and camping out near objectives can help you and your team rack up kills, too.

5. Dominate the Battlefield

One of the main aspects of winning is to hold the majority of flags. Any time your team possesses most of the objectives, the opposing team’s tickets deplete faster. This gives you bonus points for having “conquest control” which win help you win faster. Once your team holds the majority be sure to coordinate with your squad and other friendlies to heavily protect each objective from enemies.

But in the end all you need to do is have fun!
