Asus Acquires 40% Share In The Gaming Monitor Market

Asustek Computer has occupied 40% share of the worldwide high-end gaming PC market according to credible sources from the upstream China supply chain. Asus was one of the earliest gaming monitor brand vendors in the industry, and currently account for 40% of the 800,000 units that shipped in 2015 worldwide. Asus, continue to see growth in 2016 with gaming models spanning 10-15% of the volume.  With several accolades received at the recently concluded CES 2016, Asus won Five CES Innovation Awards which includes a 34 inch LCD Monitor due to launch in second quarter of 2016. The award winning monitor is the ROG Swift PG348Q LCD monitor. The tentative pricing would be approximately INR 1.2 – 1.5 lakhs.
