All Assassin’s Creed Games Ranked From Best To Worst

All Assassin’s Creed Games Ranked From Best To Worst

Assassin’s Creed has come a long way since it first released over ten years. It has given us beloved characters, cherished moments. and also a ton of frustration. So we’ve decided to rank all of the games in the franchise from best to worst, and see what that looks like. Also, this is my personal opinion, which is obviously the only correct opinion to have. Also remember that there are around 15 of these games now, and none of us probably never played them all, so don’t come here telling me that Black Flag was the best. It wasn’t.

Anyways, enjoy the list, and do let me know that you strongly disagree.

Assassin’s Creed Revelations

Revelations was the series’ high point for me. The game just closes on such a strong note, and has tons of exciting stuff along the way. Gorgeous cavern set-pieces, beautiful and unique looking Turkey, lovable characters, and a fantastic story that gives closure to the best protagonist the series ever had, Ezio Auditore da Direnze.

Assassin’s Creed Unity

I actually liked Unity quite a bit, and even the free DLC they gave out. Lucky me, I guess, for not running out and pre-ordering the game and playing it on day one. A year later, post all the patches and fixes, Unity was a really good looking game, with some of the best the combat the series has seen so far.

Assassin’s Creed 3

I know many of you might be surprised to see Assassin’s Creed 3 so high on my list, but I was fascinated to see the American Revolution unfold and be a part of it. This is probably the only Assassin’s Creed game where it didn’t feel like everything revolved around me, and that I was the one always in control. The movement and parkour were also largely improved from the previous games, and the neat twist near the beginning was pretty rad. Turns out, I do like them apples.

Assassin’s Creed 2

My love for Assassin’s Creed 2 comes because of how much of an improvement it was over the first game. I didn’t really like young Ezio too much, but absolutely loved the gameplay improvements and the setting.

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood was simply more Assassin’s Creed 2, and if there had been more games out at the time, I probably would never have played it. I remember getting to the and thinking – “Man, that was pretty dumb”. But, you know what, a lot of it was still fun. Even the odd multiplayer mode I played a decent amount of, simply because I found it to be kind of relaxing. Weird.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue

The existence of Assassin’s Creed Rogue feels like a strange decision by Ubisoft. They never really marketed it too well, and it was obviously overshadowed by Unity’s release. But for those who played it, they got Black Flag’s combat along with an interesting perspective, and a much better story that ties in directly to Unity’s beginning.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag

I honestly don’t remember most of what happened in Black Flag. I do remember starting out as a cool dude who likes to do cool Assassin stuff and be the captain of a ship. All of that sounded great at first, but pretty soon I realized that the last 15 hours of the game were just a repetition of the first two hours of the game, with a plot that was going nowhere slow.

Assassin’s Creed

The first Assassin’s Creed game was really impressive for the time. Even with the clunky combat, everything that was happening seemed to be massive in scope, which kept me going the whole time.

Everything below are all in one big stinking heap.

Assassin’s Creed Liberation

Assassin’s Creed Liberation should not have been a PC Vita game. There was so much potential here, that was held back due to hardware limitations.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

I can’t believe I actually wasted my time playing this game. The setting felt and looked boring, the combat wasn’t anywhere near as fun as Unity, and the story was a tease that lead nowhere. Darwin’s beard was cool though.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles

I guess they had to try some Assassin platforming, and see how that works.

Mobile Trash

Nope.
