Trover Saves the Universe – Review

Trover Saves the Universe is a hilarious VR adventure with tons of goofy references and fun gameplay mechanics. The puzzles are fun to solve, the platforming is clever, and the writing is consistently funny. There are also a good variety of locations to explore, almost all of which if filled to the brim with characters to interact with and all along the story keeps you hooked. You can choose to play this game outside of VR if you want, and the experience is more or less the same.

Pros:
Hilarious
Good story
Fun gameplay

Cons:
Jarring ending
Short

Score – 8/10

About:

From the co-creator of Rick and Morty comes Trover Saves the Universe.

Your dogs have been dognapped by a beaked lunatic named Glorkon who stuffed them into his eye holes and is using their life essence to destroy the universe. You’re partnered with Trover, a little purple eye-hole monster who isn’t a huge fan of working or being put in the position of having to save the universe. He’s also not that big a fan of you quite frankly, and neither am I. (Jk, you’re great)

Only you and Trover can save everything in this bizarre comedy adventure, created by Justin Roiland!
